Pinkus Mueller Organic Hefeweisse is no sweet elixer

I bought this after trying the Pilsner at The Other Room Pinkus Mueller Organic Pilsner. The laugh behind that story is that we bought the Pilsner for $14 at the bar. I’ve seen it similarly priced at other bars. I was at Whole Foods recently and found the pilsner for a considerably different price:

$3.50. That’s nearly a 5x markup. Amazeballs. And I thought Highway Robbery ended with the death of Robin Hood.

Is that Freddie Mercury in the background?

 Unlike the these Margarita flavored candies my mom sent for my birthday, the hefeweizen is quite drinkable but forgettable. There are many other hefeweizen’s I would pick over this. THE ISLAND rating.
